BRORSAN LEKER 50 CENT

The year was 2008

The year was two thousand and eight'

A lot of happenings in this stage, world age,

When Obama won the election it hadn't finished yet,

He became The first black person to conquer the first place,
the first black person to be handed the first place
The first black person to represent the states,

In fact he was the first American president to get the worlds praise,

But not the first black person to ever get chased'

We all remember back in the days, nearly three hundred years,

When white men took black persons as slaves,

Calling them names, looking them up, put muzzle and chains,

Just to shut them down,

They say; security goes before possibility,

just so you won't see any black persons around,

Three hundred years later, and a man is standing before the crowds,

world wide, making a black nation proud,

Barack Obama is taking this oath, the first black person to finish this road,

Winning by knock-out.

The year was two thousand and eight

The year was two thousand and eight,

Financial crisis gets past the line, economic crisis crashes the time,

People looses their job, lifestyle takes a deep dark dive,

Radio, TV and newspaper acting blind,

They're talking about this glamour life,

The whole media thing is going crazy, living in a self proclaimed lie,

Cos glamour life, ain´t no real life,

In fact real life aint no glamour life,

Real life is a deep dark dive,

An economic crisis, and a whole world going blind,

Indeed it's true when they say;

Money makes you blind,

Just look up to the sky; do you still see the birds fly?

But then;

Why do we see it as a penalty? Why do we hate it as a misery?

Why not make it into opportunity? Possibility? Maybe, to make poverty history,

And turn tragedy into symphony?
